Copy of letter from Stuart + Stuart, W. J?. 5b Frederick St, Edinburgh 14 Sep 98 To Sir E. G. Jenkinson, K. C. B. 2 High Beach, Felixstowe. Dear Sir Edward You will perhaps have been wondering why you haven't heard from us before now in regard to the Raeburn portraits at Langley seeing that W Black made out his visit about the middle of June. It was only this morning however that we got W Black's written report, which we now send you along with a copy thereof, which may be useful to you in communicating with W Cruikshank.
