December 3, 1902. Mr. H. C. Frick, Frick Building, Pittsburg, Pa.

Dear Sir: As understood, we are forwarding to our Pittsburg office, 432 Wood Street, the "LaFayette" picture. You are to be advised as soon as it is received, so as to get your instructions as to what is to be done with it. It is a copy by Chabod, from the original by J. D. Court, which is in the Gallery of the Revolution in the Museum at Versilles. We enclose some data, which may be of interest to you. Very truly yours, M. Knoedler & Co 2 enc.
