[ | We have about settled the Van Dyck Snyders with Carlisle & have virtually bought it payable in Jany with interest – It must be copied and framed & I trust will be ready to send with Mrs Snyders if the duty is removed so that you can view them together & make your mind up at your leisure. I was as surprised to hear of your getting the Turner as I was over the result of the Holbein – The Turner is now hanging in my dining room & looks superb. I had to send it from here as I couldn't get any additional insurance. You told me to ask you about Ziem. With kind regards. | ||
